There is strength in unified understanding of the “fullness of God.” However, if we only compare our understanding and application from within our own circle of chosen friends how can we recognize that which “passes knowledge”?

 

Think of the multi-ethnic and multi-cultural Ephesian church when you meditate on this call to unified understanding of the love of God.

 

Even though I don’t want want to give up the absolute truth of the Inspired Word of God, I have realized that I have overlooked or undervalued the purpose of some Scriptures by not knowing what people of another culture are facing in their need for God’s help.

Ephesians 3:17-19

 

“So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Today’s verse is from the NIV Trimline Bibleby Zondervan

 

Could this be your call to prayerfully seek out, befriend, win to Christ and welcome the diverse community around your church into a unified commitment to Christ?
